Pedal For The House
Welcome to Pedal for the House, Inc., the third annual charity bike ride benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. The event has undergone a name change but is the same exceptional event that you have come to know and trust. It will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
We have a lot of new and exciting changes this year in addition to our name. Pedal For The House, Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your generous donations are tax deductible. We have also added an additional route to the ride. We have made slight safety alterations to our longer routes. There is new a fee structure for this year's event that everyone will find quite favorable. As usual, there is an "Early-Bird" discount for registering for the event early!
Pedal For The House is a one-day cycling event that starts and ends at Tollefson Park, Verona, WI. There are four varying routes that have something for everyone. The family-friendly 10-mile route is a great route for most ages and abilities. There is a hill or two that will definitely get your heart pumping! There is a Fun Loop that winds around the park and is ideal for walkers, strollers, wheelchairs, tricycles and anyone who wants the ultimate Fun Loop! The 20, 40 and 60-mile routes are for the avid cyclists that REALLY enjoy a challenge and some pretty good climbs. While these routes are very beautiful they are also very challenging.
There is a delicious post-ride meal after the event that is for the all participants, riders and volunteers. There is light entertainment at the park for our smaller riders and those who are relaxing. There will be a bounce house, face painter, and family music to be enjoyed by all!

The following are the are route lengths and start times: Check-In/Registration Opens at 6:30AM
- 60-mile riders start at 7am should be on the route by 8am
- 40-mile riders start at 8am should be on route by 9am
- 20-mile riders start at 9am should be on the route by 10am
- 10-mile riders - Flexible - anytime after 9am
- Fun Loop is open from 9am to 2pm
- Children's activities at the park from 9am to 2pm (Children may not be left unattended at park)
- Adult: $35
- Family (2 Adults) $50
- Family (w/children) $40
